Vivo has now announced when the Vivo T4x 5G will officially launch in India. The smartphone has been teased to feature the largest battery in its segment. The company is going to unveil the T4x 5G smartphone in India on 5 March 2023 at 12 PM and it will be available for purchase through Flipkart. The 6GB + 128GB variant will cost ₹12,XXX, as per a teaser image that currently isn’t displayed on Flipkart. Vivo is also likely to launch a couple of other configs. In comparison, the Vivo T3x 5G was launched at a starting price of ₹13,499 for its base model and priced at ₹14,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant.
The teaser also hints that the Vivo T4x 5G will come with a massive 6,500mAh battery. The smartphone will be offered in two color options: blue and purple, though the official names are yet to be disclosed. The rear camera module will also incorporate an Aura Light ring for enhanced low-light photography. But Vivo has yet to reveal more hardware specs for now. While details remain scant, the Vivo T4x 5G is said to feature an LCD display according to leaks. The Vivo T3x had a 6.72-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, so a similar setup is likely.
This upcoming phone is said to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset. For photography, it is rumored to feature a 50MP primary rear shooter and an 8MP front-facing camera, which will be an upgrade from the 2MP sensor of the T3x. Software-wise, the device will likely arrive with Funtouch OS based on Android 15.
