Vivo T4 5G: Specs and Price Revealed Ahead of April 22 Launch

Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has officially announced the launch date of its upcoming Vivo T4 5G, which is scheduled to debut on April 22. Before the launch, the company shared a number of important specifications of the phone, such as battery specifications, charging specifications, design, and more.

A highlight of the Vivo T4 5G is a large 7,300mAh battery. Vivo says this will make it the slimmest smartphone in India with such a big battery. It has a 15.7% energy density increase over the old battery thanks to new BlueVolt anode materials and a third-generation silicon. For each allowable charge to maximize battery life and efficiency, Vivo is introducing the latest technologies, including Carbon Nanotube conduction, Electrode Reshaping, and Nano Cage structure, all focusing on the long-term health of the battery.

According to the Flipkart microsite, the device will support 90W wired FlashCharge as well as reverse and bypass charging. Bypass charging enables the phone to receive power from the charger directly instead of going through the battery, reducing stress on the battery and heat when using the device for long periods of time. The T4 5G retains a sleek profile at 7.89mm and 199 grams despite its sizeable battery.

The phone is rumored to have a 6.67-inch Full HD+ quad-curved Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a reported peak brightness of 5,000 nits. It might have a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset under the hood, and Funtouch OS 15, based on Android 15, could run the device. It will also likely come with an in-display fingerprint sensor and IR blaster. Camera specs are said to include a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor with OIS, a 2MP secondary lens, and a 32MP front camera. Storage variants may include 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB. The expected price range in India is between ₹20,000 and ₹25,000.
