Vivo is gearing up to launch its new Vivo T4 5G smartphone in India, positioning it as a strong contender in the budget segment. Flipkart teasers also suggest a huge battery — possibly the largest in any Indian smartphone ever. The T4 is likely to be a significant improvement over last year’s Vivo T3.

The device could have a massive 7,300mAh battery, eclipsing the 5,000mAh pack offered in the T3, as per 91Mobiles. Vivo even backed up this statement with a graph and research firm Counterpoint. The T4 may also offer ultra-fast 90W charging, vastly improved over the T3’s 44W — although real-world speeds might vary depending on thermal management and battery size. In terms of performance, leaks suggest that the Vivo T4 has Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset in tow—the same SoC that replaced the MediaTek chip in the previous generation.

The device is also likely to feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and a hole-punch cutout for the front camera. For optics, the T4 might feature a 50MP Sony-backed primary lens along with a 2MP secondary sensor. It may feature a 32MP front camera, which is an uptick from the 16MP snapper on the T3. It would ship with Android 15 and Vivo’s Funtouch OS 15, with choices of 8GB or 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.

Design teasers reveal a slim 8.1mm profile, rounded edges, and a dark turquoise finish. Despite the large battery, it’s expected to weigh just 195 grams. Other features may include an in-display fingerprint scanner and IR blaster. The Vivo T4 5G is rumored to launch in April, with a price range between ₹20,000 and ₹25,000 — slightly higher than the T3, but offering a bigger upgrade in return.
