Vivo has recently announced its partnership with a renowned optoelectronics brand Carl Zeiss. Oppo has signed this deal for further improvements and up-gradation of their camera modules of the upcoming smartphones. Vivo has also shared a teaser image poster regarding this partnership with Zeiss and stated a small message revealing this partnership. As Zeiss is a renowned optoelectronics and lens manufacturer company, we can expect some extra-ordinary camera setup and lenses from the upcoming Vivo smartphones.
Apart from Vivo, a lot of other smartphone manufacturers are also there which have signed a partnership with Zeiss. For say, Huawei and Leica are some of the prime examples of this. In the past, Nokia had also partnered with Zeiss. That’s why we are experiencing some really great camera experiences from those devices. On the basis of it, Vivo should produce some great outcomes in terms of the camera in the future.
Vivo is about to launch its X60 flagship series in the upcoming 2021. In that series, we can expect some really good rear camera setup, credit goes to the partnership with Zeiss. With this partnership, Vivo is looking to push some taller heights in terms of the camera section. The X50 series has a micro-gimbal camera system for capturing stable videos. So, the Vivo X60 should be equipped with an ultra-stable micro gimbal. As per the released poster, the Vivo X60 will feature a triple rear camera setup whereas the Pro variant will offer an additional square-shaped lens, that could be a periscope telephoto sensor.
