Vivo S30 Series Launching in May: S30 Pro Mini Specs Leaked

Vivo is set to launch the S30 series of smartphones in China, with the official unveiling expected by the end of this month. The lineup will include the regular Vivo S30 and a smaller Vivo S30 Pro Mini model. The S30 Pro Mini will pack a 6.31-inch screen, et al, like the Chinese version of the X200 Pro Mini released in China from October 2024. Some important specifications of the Vivo S30 Pro Mini have also been leaked and reported.

In a Weibo post, Vivo’s Product Vice President Ouyang Weifeng also confirmed the launch plan and said that the Vivo S30 series will be announced before the end of May. He revealed that the Vivo S30 series lineup will feature the regular Vivo S30 and also the Vivo S30 Pro Mini. The Vivo S30 will feature a 6.67-inch screen. Both variants are rumoured to come with the same 6,500mAh battery. Weifeng’s post also included an image showing the display panels of the Vivo S30 Pro Mini and Vivo S30 side by side.

Both phones will have flat screens, slim bezels, and centrally positioned hole-punch front cameras. The power button and volume rocker will be placed on the right edge. In another Weibo update, Weifeng compared the profile of the Vivo S30 Pro Mini to the iPhone 16 Pro Max, showing it in light blue and highlighting its slim design, which appears thinner than the iPhone, with a slightly raised rear camera module.

An earlier leak from tipster Digital Chat Station suggested that the Vivo S30 Pro Mini would support both wireless and 100W wired fast charging. The tipster also mentioned that the device might feature a “high-performance sub-flagship processor” and a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto camera.
