The Vivo S20 series has been launched in China, consisting of two models—the Vivo S20 and S20 Pro. These devices are successors to the Vivo S19 series which launched earlier this year. Other features of both models include 1.5K AMOLED displays with 120Hz refresh rates, 50-megapixel primary cameras, and dual-SIM support. They also have an IP64 rating for water and dust resistance, and both feature an in-display fingerprint scanner for security.

The Vivo S20 is priced starting at CNY 2,299 (approx ₹27,000) for the base 8GB + 256GB variant. The highest configuration, with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, is priced at CNY 2,999 (approx ₹35,000). Meanwhile, the Vivo S20 Pro starts at CNY 3,399 for the 12GB + 256GB variant, with options for 16GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB. Both models are equipped with a 6.67-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display (1260 x 2800 pixels) that boasts a peak brightness of 5,000 nits and HDR10+ support. The regular version has a flat display, but the Pro version has a quad-curved panel. The devices actually run OriginOS 5 atop Android 15.

It also comes with a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, up to 16GB LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 512GB UFS 2.2 for storage. The Vivo S20 Pro, on the other hand, is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC mated to Arm’s Immortalis-G720 GPU with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. At the back, the Vivo S20 packs a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel OV50E sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, while there is a 50-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Vivo S20 Pro upgrades the rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 primary sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom. They both use the same 50-megapixel selfie camera. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.4. The Vivo S20 packs a 6,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging, while the Vivo S20 Pro has a 5,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging. The Vivo S20 measures 160.35×74.18×7.19mm and weighs 186g, while the Vivo S20 Pro has dimensions of 160.56×75.02×7.43mm and weighs 193g.
