Portuguese club Sporting are progressing in their bid to sign Vitor Roque from Barcelona. The youngster has had limited opportunities since joining the club during the winter transfer window, and could be on his way out already.
According to Fabrizio Romano, a sum worth €30 million is being discussed between the two clubs for the young striker. However, an agreement is not fully in place yet for his transfer to go through. Yet, there is optimism that things could work out soon.

FC Porto were rumoured to be in contention for the youngster too, but have not opted to join the race in spite of selling Evanilson to Bournemouth a few days ago.
Real Betis have also put forth a loan deal proposal to sign Vitor Roque. However, Sporting are offering a permanent transfer solution to Barcelona for the striker. As of now, it is unclear whether the club would want to let him go on a permanent deal or sell him off.
The 19-year-old scored two goals in 14 LaLiga games last season, and showed glimpses of his ability. However, with Robert Lewandowski still the designated striker, he probably won’t have a lot of playing time at the club, and is pushing for an exit to avoid stagnation.
