Marvel fans, get ready to geek out. Ahead of *VisionQuest*‘s October 14 debut on Disney+, star Todd Stashwick has dropped the clearest image yet of his villain, **Paladin** — and he looks like he stepped straight off a comic panel.

The photo, shared on Stashwick’s Instagram, shows Paladin locked in combat with Paul Bettany’s White Vision, who’s holding him up by the throat amid a trashed room. It’s our sharpest, brightest peek at the character’s iconic purple leather suit before the show wraps up the trilogy that began with *WandaVision* and *Agatha All Along*.

## Paladin in VisionQuest

| Detail | Info |
| --- | --- |
| Actor | Todd Stashwick |
| Comics debut | Daredevil villain-turned-mercenary |
| MCU role | Bounty hunter hunting Vision |
| Costume | Purple leather, arm/leg guards, gold pistols |
| Showrunner’s comparison | “The Boba Fett of the Marvel Universe” |
| Series premiere | October 14, 2026 (Disney+) |

## Why Paladin’s Look Matters

Unlike the dim trailer shot from Marvel’s 2026 D23 reveal, this new still shows off nearly every detail of the costume: tactical vest, utility belt, and those signature gold-plated pistols. It’s slightly darker in tone than his classic comic-book purple, but unmistakably faithful to the source material.

Showrunner Terry Matalas has already hyped the character up, calling him a morally grey, “badass” hunter who’ll give [Vision (Marvel Cinematic Universe)](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vision_(Marvel_Cinematic_Universe)) a rare, fully human adversary — a nice change of pace from the AI-avatar villains dominating the rest of the season.

## What to Expect?

Paladin is being introduced as one of the MCU’s growing roster of bounty hunters, tasked with capturing Vision to harvest his advanced android technology. Whether he’s a lone wolf or answering to a bigger, unseen boss (shades of the Power Broker twist from *Falcon and Winter Soldier*) remains the show’s biggest mystery.
