Ram Charan has become very famous for SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus movie named RRR. The song ‘Naatu Naatu’, which stars Ram and Jr. NTR, has won Oscar in the Best Original Song category. Ram has played a variety of roles in his whole career till now, he has stated that he would like to be a part of Virat Kohli biopic.

He has further stated that if he gets a chance, he will adore playing the role of the former Indian captain Virat Kohli in Virat Kohli biopic. When questioned about a character he would love to play, Ram responded positively and said, “I would like to play anything to do with sport. It’s been a long due. Maybe a sports-based film”.

At the India Today Conference, when Virat’s name was recommended to him, the actor said: “Fantastic, he is an inspiring soul. I think given a chance, it will be fantastic as I look similar also.”

Ram made this statement right after Virat was caught doing the Naatu Naatu hook step during the first ODI match between India and Australia. When the Australian players entered the field, he erupted into the trademark steps.

In Past, Bollywood has found great success with the sports biopic. Given that cricket is the most popular sport in the nation, biopics about former Indian captains MS Dhoni and Kapil Dev, such as “MS Dhoni” and “83,” have performed exceptionally well at the box office.

Mithali Raj’s biopic ‘Shabaash Mithu’ and upcoming Jhulan Goswami’s biopic titled ‘Chakda Xpress’ tells the story of legends of women’s Indian cricket team. So, it is expected that Virat Kohli biopic is next on the list.
