Gaming has taken unprecedented flight in times of covid induced lockdowns, as such we are seeing an increase in demand for high-performing gaming accessories. As such having a good performing gaming monitor fulfills all our needs. And ViewSonic is one such brand that offers high-performance monitors.
According to recent news, ViewSonic has just updated its VX range with five additional gaming monitors. The VX18 series ranges from 27- to 32-inches and 1080p to 2K, and comes with some curved options.
All five monitors from the manufacturer have the company’s own ViewSonic SuperClear VA panels that support up to 165 Hz and 1 ms response times (MPRT). The technology along with ViewMode presets optimise screen performance for various uses, including gaming.
ViewSonic has also included 2 W stereo speakers, blue light filters, and Flicker-Free technology to protect people’s eyes during prolonged sessions. All the models also have support for ViewSonic’s Eco mode and also AMD’s Adaptive Sync.
According to the manufacturer, the VX18 series covers 72% of the NTSC colour space and 102% of sRGB while achieving a 4,000:1 contrast ratio. All the monitors have a single DisplayPort 1.2 connection and two HDMI 1.4 ports, or HDMI 2.0 in the case of the VX2718-2KPC-MHD.
The manufacturer has stated that the monitors will be available from specialist retailers and ViewSonic via a sales inquiry.
