The M4 Mac Mini is expected in late 2022 now due to its redesign. It’s said to be styled like a medium-sized Apple TV, just taller for more hardware. As a side note, this update is also significant considering the fact that it has been 14 years since Apple last redesigned its Mac mini and how much is needed. While analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has claimed that the design will be unchanged compared to current M3 MacBook Pro models, a new Mac mini would also make sense. We also anticipate that Apple will announce an M4, and perhaps even an M4 Pro variation of this small computer as well.

The benchmarks show that the M4 chip is doing better over even flagship chips like the Qualcomm S3 Lite and Snapdragon X Elite in both single-core, as well as multi-core performance. We can expect the M4 Pro in the Mac mini to deliver unmatched portability performance.
