Lionel Messi, no a free agent surprisingly, won the Copa America 2021 title to finally win an international trophy with Argentina. On the other hand, Ronaldo has also won the Euro 2016 with Argentina and many other accolades at the club level.
So a video has gone viral on Youtube where 97 famous and meaningful personalities from the world of football choose between Ronaldo and Messi.

Messi clearly won the battle here, but in real life, it’s much more complicated as Messi has won more trophies and recognition than Ronaldo but the Portuguese star has proven himself in three of the five best European leagues.
