Victor Osimhen is close to sealing a shocking transfer to Galatasaray for the 24-25 season. The Turkish club has reached an agreement in principle with Napoli for the striker, and they will be covering his salary in the region of €9-10 million.

The player is yet to give his green light to the transfer, and the move can only go through once there is an agreement with both the player and the club.

Victor Osimhen to join Galatasaray from Napoli on loan

🚨🟡🔴 Galatasaray have reached an agreement in principle with Napoli over loan deal for Victor Osimhen!

The Nigerian was in talks with Al Ahli of Saudi Arabia and Chelsea on deadline day. However, he couldn’t agree a transfer to either club. While Napoli had raised their demands from Al Ahli later, Chelsea had offered him half the amount he currently earns per week at Napoli.

Osimhen hasn’t been included in Napoli’s squad for the season, with his number 9 shirt given to Romelu Lukaku. Antonio Conte has confirmed that the squad has been finalised as well. As a result, the forward could be loaned out for the season before a permanent transfer is orchestrated next summer.

However, it all depends on whether Victor Osimhen and his outspoken agent will now concede to a loan move after vehemently opposing it earlier in the transfer window.

Who else will likely leave Napoli this summer?
