Being a witness to a live event from home is not excited at all. Especially in the case of sports. After tolerating the pandemic sports events are started coming on track very slowly. But by obeying so many conditions. Among those, the major one is the absence of the viewers in the stadium or at the venue. So, the viewers will not get the stadium like excitement further? Well, until the tech giant like Facebook is with us, it’s not gonna happen.
Facebook introduces its new Live event companion app called Venue. This app is actually developed by the New Product Experimentation team which belongs to Facebook. The target is to make the viewers interact with others during a live event while staying in their comfort zone i.e. in home. Mainly the developers are trying to remove the solo like experience during a live stream from home. They have some tools for this.
Features that Makes it Happen:
The app, Venue connects all the live event viewers with the commentator or the host. The host holds the freedom to post interactive questions, polls, or a small chat section for the viewers. The users can track the upcoming live events in the app and also can get notified.
Venue also has a feature called ‘Moments’. This is kind of highlights. The moto is same exactly, not to take out the memorable or super exciting moments from the viewers. Whenever a moment created, a notification reached to the fans. They can easily go there to view the moment once again, if they want.
The Venue app is available for both the Android and iOS platforms. As this app is experimental, changes may happen in the future. It is making its debut today in the Supermarket Heroes 500 race partnering with NASCAR.
