Disney+ Hotstar, dropped the official trailer of the Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza film ‘Ved’. The two are now Bollywood’s successful couple going to make a return to the silver screen just after a long time.
This is a new thriller film with the directorial debut with Deshmukh who has become a producer. The actor also worked on several Bollywood films in the comedy category. In this film, we are going to witness a thrilling love story that contains romance, and detachment.
After the success of ‘Mauli’, there was great excitement surrounding the Marathi movie featuring Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh. It was announced that Riteish would be introducing ‘Wade’ to the viewers. Just recently, the movie’s poster was revealed, and now the intriguing trailer has been launched, creating a buzz on various social media platforms.
Ved: Plot
Genelia’s performance in this two-minute and fourteen seconds trailer of the movie Wade has grabbed everyone’s attention. The trailer starts with a high school memory of the two, while they meet with each other. Riteish Deshmukh falls in love with a girl madly. But the girl leaves him. Later, Genelia, who studies with him in school, marries him.
Meanwhile, Genelia’s dialogue ‘You will not know the pain of loving someone who doesn’t love you’ has caught everyone’s attention. They started to spend beautiful and precious time with each other until the actor opened his eyes in the hospital bed.
As the trailer continues, it represents Riteish Deshmukh as a rude person who becomes married to his love, but never speaks sweetly to her, and does not take her to the outside for travelling.
In this film, Genelia plays a dual role. On one hand, she portrays a calm and quiet housewife who fulfills all her responsibilities flawlessly. She speaks softly to Riteish, her husband. On the other hand, she portrays a strong-willed woman in her workplace who doesn’t tolerate any form of disobedience. As for Riteish Deshmukh’s character, he hasn’t been able to find steady employment and spends his time indulging in alcohol, ultimately squandering his wife’s earnings.
Everything becomes worst when Riteish involves in an extramarital affair with another beautiful lady. He has left Genelia by asking a question, ‘Why you have married me?’, now, the trailer takes us to those times when Riteish and Genelia start to fall in love with each other.
Genelia is crying and saying to her father, “Jisse mujhse pyaar hi nahi, usse pyar karene ka dard tum kya samjhoge baba”. The film contains several action scenes. The trailer ends with Genelia dating, “It’s been seven years we are married; I vividly remember each day of our life, do you even memorize a single moment?”
In the beginning, Riteish is always telling her to stay away from him and his things. In the end, Genelia has left him by herself without any complaints.
