If you follow Indian television even loosely, this week’s [TRP](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Television_rating_point) numbers will genuinely surprise you. Ekta Kapoor’s Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 — which had been comfortably sitting at No. 1 for weeks — has finally been knocked off its perch. And the show that did it? Vasudha, a remake that has been quietly building steam while the big legacy titles were busy competing among themselves.

## **Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 : This Week’s Full TRP Rankings**

| Rank | Show | TRP Rating |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 1 | Vasudha | 1.8 |
| 2 | Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 | 1.7 |
| 3 | Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan | 1.6 |
| 4 | Tumm Se Tumm Tak | 1.5 |
| 5 | Anupamaa | 1.5 |

## **What’s happening show by show**

Vasudha has claimed the No. 1 spot with a 1.8 rating. The 2024 show is an official remake of the hit Telugu drama Muddha Mandaram, and its high-octane narrative has finally translated into chart-topping viewership. It’s a well-deserved climb after weeks of quietly gaining ground.

Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 drops to second with a 1.7 — still impressively strong for a returning legacy title, but the throne has changed hands. Tulsi Virani’s magic is clearly alive, just no longer unchallenged.

Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan, produced by Ravie Dubey and Sargun Mehta, holds firm at third with a 1.6. Its emotional story of self-respect and family bonds continues to connect with audiences across demographics.

Tumm Se Tumm Tak enters the top five at No. 4 with 1.5, a notable new addition to this competitive bracket.

Anupamaa, Rupali Ganguly’s long-running Star Plus show, clings to fifth place — also at 1.5 — but the tie with Tumm Se Tumm Tak is a warning sign. The show that once dominated these charts is now fighting week to week just to stay in the top five.

**Just outside the top five:** Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Udne Ki Aasha continue pushing for a spot, while Kyunki Rishton Ke Bhi Roop Badalte Hain — the spin-off of the returning Kyunki franchise — is maintaining steady viewership. Ekta Kapoor’s supernatural thriller Naagin 7 and the popular cooking-comedy Laughter Chefs – Unlimited Entertainment also feature in the trending list this week.

It’s a genuinely competitive TRP landscape right now — and with Anupamaa on the edge and a remake at the top, the next few weeks could bring even more reshuffling. For more weekly TV updates and entertainment coverage, head to [TechnoSports](https://technosports.co.in).
