ZEE5 made the announcement on Sunday through an Instagram post. The post featured a thought-provoking caption: “Jo Paraye Bhi Na Kare, Agar Wo Apne Kar Jaaye, To Apne Se Bada Paraya Kaun?” (*If even your own people treat you like an outsider, then who is a bigger stranger than them?*).

*Vanvaas* revolves around deep emotions and family relationships. The film stars Utkarsh Sharma, son of director Anil Sharma. Fans might remember him from *Gadar 2*, where he played a significant role, and as a child artist in *Gadar: Ek Prem Katha*. The film also features talented actors like Nana Patekar and Simrat Kaur, making it an emotional rollercoaster.

## **Faced Tough Competition at Box Office**

Despite being crafted with strong storytelling and impactful performances, *Vanvaas* did not fare well at the box office. The primary reason was the stiff competition from other big releases, especially *[Pushpa 2](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pushpa_(film_series))*. However, those who have watched *Vanvaas* have praised its emotional depth and beautiful storytelling.
