Indian online retailer Flipkart has posted a teaser video regarding a return of a prominent laptop brand, Vaio. Like seriously, we are hearing this “Vaio” name after a long time. Back in 2014, Sony used to sell its Vaio laptops. But, days after days, it has lost its customers due to several issues, such as excessive amounts of bloatwares in it as well as those Vaio laptops were priced much higher than that of other laptop brands. For all these reasons, Vaio had to say “Good Bye” from the market.
Now almost after six years, at the end of 2020, we’ve witnessed a teaser video on Flipkart regarding this laptop brand. The Flipkart teaser reads “Lighter than your past”. So, basically, this video is teasing about the return of some older brand laptops and interestingly, this video is based on the era that Vaio stopped making laptops. That’s why we can expect the return of Vaio.

We can expect those upcoming Vaio laptops in several markets, such as in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Macau, Middle East, and India. It is not the first time we are hearing something new about Vaio as back in 2017, Vaio was about to launch Vaio Phone A. But unfortunately, it had no chance of getting noticed.
