The goalkeeping Domino of the summer has now reached its conclusion, with Tomas Vaclik confirmed as the replacement for Jose Sa at Olympiacos.

Vaclik joins the Greek club on a free transfer and signed a contract till 2023. The 32-year-old keeper is the number 1 for the Czech Republic national team. He was between the sticks for all five of their Euro 2020 matches and kept two clean sheets as they progressed to the quarter-finals despite being unlikely candidates.

He has earned 41 caps for his country and most recently played club football for Spanish side Sevilla, whom he joined in 2018.

Jose Sa is expected to replace Rui Patricio at the Molineux. According to Fabrizio Romano, the deal is done and will be announced once Patricio leaves the club this summer. The Portuguese number 1 will join Roma and link up with compatriot Jose Mourinho at the Italian capital. He will fly to Roma today to complete his medical and formally sign the contract that will confirm him as a Roma player.

Wolves will pay Olympiacos a sum worth around £6.5 million for their goalkeeper. They will receive €12 million for Patricio, who has been a crucial part of the team in the last few years under Nuno Espirito Santo. Bruno Lage will now work with Sa as his first choice between the sticks.

Roma are also expected to complete the signing of Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka in the weeks to come, as a part of their new project under the Special One.
