UPES University, a multidisciplinary institution based in Dehradun, India, has announced a strategic partnership with Harvard Business Impact (HBI). The collaboration aims to strengthen experiential and case-based learning across UPES’s undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) management programs.

The initiative seeks to equip students with analytical, decision-making, leadership, and problem-solving capabilities, addressing the demands of a dynamic business environment increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence, automation, and digital transformation. By integrating global learning resources, the partnership intends to bridge the gap between academic instruction and real-world business scenarios.

## UPES Experiential Learning and Resource Access

Under the agreement, UPES students will gain access to an extensive repository of educational materials. This includes Harvard Business School case studies, Harvard Business Review articles, multimedia content, video cases, and podcasts through a comprehensive site license. These resources are designed to engage students with contemporary business challenges and global management perspectives.

The partnership also provides access to eight high-impact business simulations annually, enabling students to apply theoretical knowledge in realistic business contexts and develop strategic thinking. Additionally, students across both UG and PG programs will benefit from six specialized bridging courses covering finance, accounting, management communication, quantitative methods, and spreadsheet modeling. Access to the Manage Mentor program is also included, offering self-paced modules for developing practical managerial competencies.

## Faculty Development and Curriculum Integration

To support teaching excellence and curriculum innovation, the collaboration incorporates dedicated faculty development initiatives. These include Harvard Business Impact’s “Teaching with Cases” workshops, premium educator accounts, curriculum mapping support, and access to a library of on-demand webinars focused on emerging themes such as artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and hybrid learning.

Dr. Abhishek Sinha, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Student Success) at UPES University ([https://www.upes.ac.in](https://www.upes.ac.in/)), commented on the partnership, stating, “The future of management education lies in bridging academic learning with real-world business challenges. Our collaboration with Harvard Business Impact will provide students with access to globally recognized case studies, immersive simulations, and experiential learning opportunities that strengthen analytical thinking, decision-making, and leadership capabilities.”

Dviwesh Mehta, Director, Harvard Business Impact, India, added, “UPES shares our belief that management education must evolve as rapidly as the world students are preparing to lead. Through this collaboration, we’re equipping learners with immersive, practice‑driven experiences that provide authentic business decision‑making opportunities.”

This partnership reflects UPES’s ongoing commitment to developing industry-relevant and globally benchmarked learning experiences.
