During the recent Capcom Highlights video presentation, Capcom unveiled exciting updates for two action-packed titles set to launch this year. The showcase included the introduction of the “Character Creator & Storage” tool for Dragon’s Dogma™ 2, allowing players to design their Arisen and Main Pawn ahead of the game’s highly anticipated release on March 22, 2024.
In addition, new details on Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess™ were revealed, offering insight into the strategic action game and its vibrant Japanese-inspired setting ahead of its 2024 launch.

Create Your Character in Dragon’s Dogma 2 Today
Dragon’s Dogma 2 director Hideaki Itsuno and producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi joined Capcom Highlights to provide an overview of the immersive fantasy adventures that await players in the game. With up to three AI companions known as Pawns, players are encouraged to explore the world of Dragon’s Dogma 2 with curiosity and creativity.
Players’ decisions within the game will have a direct impact on their Arisen’s relationships with other characters, influencing interactions between characters throughout the expansive world filled with over 1000 unique characters, each with their own objectives and motives. The newly introduced “Character Creator & Storage” tool is now available for free download on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam, enabling players to create five designs for their Arisen and Main Pawn. These designs will seamlessly transfer to the full game upon its release, allowing players to embark on their journey from day one.
Moreover, plans were revealed to release official Capcom support Pawns created by renowned content creators, offering players the opportunity to join their own adventure. More details on participating creators will be announced in the near future.
Peer Into Spirit Realm with Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess
Set to launch this year, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess offers players an immersive experience within a world deeply rooted in Japanese culture and mysticism. This single-player action strategy game challenges players’ strategic ability within a mystical action adventure.
Tasked with rescuing villagers and purifying their villages on Mount Kafuku, players assume the role of the protagonist, Soh, alongside the Maiden, Yoshiro. As they journey through Mount Kafuku, players will encounter dynamic day and night cycles, engaging in battles and confronting formidable enemies infused with the power of stolen masks. Players can harness various abilities and roles, including Woodcutters, Archers, and Ascetics, each contributing to the battle against the festering Seethe.
Powered by the RE ENGINE, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess will be available from day one on Xbox Game Pass for console and PC, as well as Xbox Series X|S, Windows, PlayStation 5, and Steam.
