Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has travelled to Barcelona today in order to complete his loan move to the La Liga club on the transfer deadline day. The Gabon international has fallen down the pecking order at Arsenal and there was many off the field controversies.

Barcelona winger Dembele was also not extending his contract so Barcelona hoped to sign the Arsenal striker. According to reports, the deal was almost finalized but Dembele is staying at the club so Barcelona now needs to reduce their wage bill to sign Aubameyang.

Arsenal have also made it clear that they won’t pay any part of the salary if they loan Aubameyang to Barcelona, which made Barcelona’s wage cap calculations even more difficult.
