There has been a lot of rumours surrounding the launch of Nintendo’s upcoming flagship Switch Pro, now Bloomberg reports that Nintendo plans to unveil its next-generation handheld console in June itself because we know E3 2021 will take place next month.

So, Nintendo will begin the mass production of its new gaming consoles in July with the production ramping up in Q4 2021. It is though rumoured the upcoming flagship consoles will be called Nintendo Switch Pro and could be unveiled even before E3 2021 kicks off, which starts on June 12th.

Nintendo Co. plans to begin assembly of its new Switch as soon as July and release the upgraded replacement for its four-year-old game console in September or October, people familiar with the matter said.

So, if we go by the rumours that we have accumulated until now, the Nintendo Switch Pro will sport a 7-inch Samsung OLED screen with 4K resolution. Universal Display Corp. manufactures and licenses OLED tech for different companies, including Samsung, and the latest earning report of the company mentioned the Switch Pro.

The upcoming hand-held console will be powered by an NVIDIA processor with next-generation graphics architecture (or Ada Lovelace architecture), thanks to NVIDIA DLSS technology, that will easily help run games at 4K resolution.

Because of a good chain of suppliers, Nintendo’s order can be fulfilled easily despite ongoing chip shortages. The successor to the 2017 Nintendo Switch is rumoured to carry a similar price tag of 299 USD, and hopefully, we will see the long-awaited hand-held gaming console soon in action.
