Intel is all set launch its upcoming Rocket Lake-S desktop CPUs in the coming days and we have seen a number of benchmarks of these processors. The flagship 8-core Core i9-11900K has been spotted many a times, however, the new CPU-Z benchmarks proves its single-core dominance, we saw in [Geekbench](https://technosports.co.in/2021/01/22/first-legit-intel-core-i9-11900k-geekbench-result-spotted-blows-away-in-single-core/) as well.

The new Intel CPU based on Cypress Cove architecture has managed to put some interesting scores on CPU-Z. The 8 core, 16 threaded CPU has a max all-core boost of 4.8GHz and 3.5GHz base clock speeds whereas the single-core boost goes up to a whopping 5.3GHz.

The 8-core Intel Core i9-11900K will go head-to-head with the [AMD Ryzen 7 5800X](https://technosports.co.in/2021/01/28/amd-ryzen-7-5800x-review-fastest-8-core-amd-gaming-cpu-but-at-a-cost/), which in our review (at stock) scored 661 points in single-core and 6578 in multi-core. This means, as predicted, even though Intel will snatch back its single-core prowess but fail to beat in multi-core.
