The first launch of August is scheduled for the 1st. The recently unveiled India-specific X-Trail, which was showcased in July this year can now be booked at a token amount of ₹1 lakh and will only come as one top-end variant. It is powered by a 1.5L, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that comes with a mild-hybrid system delivering 161bhp and 300Nm through the CVT box. Nissan is promising a mileage of 13.7kmpl. Tata Curvv is one of many vehicles Tata Motors has in store for the Indian market over the next few months. The new coupe SUV is set to rival the Citroen Basalt and will debut alongside its ICE sibling on August 7. The compact SUV will likely be offered with a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and the tried-and-tested 1.5-litre diesel engines, paired to both six-speed manual and DCT transmission choices The diesel might also get the DCT gearbox which would be a market-first. Alongside the top-end model, a 55kWh battery with a single-charge range of 600km will be available. Meanwhile, lower-spec versions will come with a 40.5kWh battery sourced from the Nexon EV.
