OnePlus is preparing to expand its TWS lineup with a new pair of wireless earbuds. The last OnePlus TWS devices were the Nord Buds 3, which came in September last year, and the flagship OnePlus Buds Pro 3, which landed a month earlier. Now, the OnePlus new TWS has been spotted on the FCC certification website which suggests that it may launch soon. It follows the same device getting TUV Rheinland certified back in November. The new listing shares information about its battery capacity.

Mysterious OnePlus TWS Earbuds Secure FCC Certification, Revealing Battery Specs and Possible Nord Buds 3r Identity
The mysterious OnePlus TWS earbuds listed on the FCC carry the model number E513A and are categorized as wireless earbuds. According to the certification, the charging case (model number 801830PF8-1) will contain a 530mAh battery, while each of the earbuds (model number 122570B) will be equipped with a 62mAh cell. The name is yet to be confirmed, but speculations hint at the possibility that these might be called the OnePlus Nord Buds 3r, considering the naming conventions of previous OnePlus TWS earbuds.
Earlier this year the Nord Buds 2r was launched alongside a Buds 3 model number E510A that according to the brand’s certification alongside the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 and Buds 3 were E512A and E514A respectively. If this is true, the Buds 3r will be a massive battery upgrade over the Nord Buds 2r, which had a charging case of 480mAh and earbuds of 36mAh. The FCC listing also re-confirms that Bluetooth support and a 0.2m USB-C charging cable will come included with the E513A model.
However, additional details remain undisclosed. Given that the Nord Buds 2r debuted in July 2023 for ₹2,199, the Nord Buds 3r could launch soon with an improved battery and upgraded features. While details on sound quality and design are yet to surface, OnePlus fans can expect a refreshed model with better endurance.
