UEFA have officially announced the venue for Euro 2028, as well as Euro 2032. The UK and Republic of Ireland will host Euro 2028, following the 2024 edition being played at Germany next year.
On the other hand, Italy and Turkey will host the first Euros of the 2030s. “The bidders presented 20 potential host stadiums, of which 10 will be chosen, five per country, by October 2026”, UEFA reported after announcing the host country for the 2036 edition of the tournament.

The host stadiums for the 2028 edition have been revealed, with matches set to be played in Belfast, Birmingham, Cardiff, Dublin, Glasgow, Liverpool, London, Manchester and Newcastle.
The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Manchester City Stadium, Aviva Stadium, Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wembley Stadium, St James’s Park, Bramley Moore Dock, Hampden Park, Casement Park and Villa Park are the ten stadiums where the matches will be played in 2028.
The crucial matches towards the end of the tournament such as the semifinal and final will likely be played at the Wembley Stadium. The 90,000 capacity stadium in London was where the Euro 2020 final was also played. But, in spite of complaints from opposition fans about the hostility surrounding the event, UEFA have decided to return to England for another edition of the Euros.
Manchester United’s Old Trafford Stadium has not been selected owing to the poor condition of the ground. On the other hand, the Etihad Stadium will undergo an expansion to add more seats in the coming years, making it the preferred choice to host Euro games.
