ZEE5 has come with a new thriller film titled, ‘U-Turn’ was unveiled on Thursday. The movie is mainly a supernatural thriller that revolves around motorists who have taken a U-turn illegally and are unable to realize that this can change the course of their lives.
U-Turn: Plot
The movie preview presents the narrative of Radhika, portrayed by Alaya F, a committed intern journalist employed by a local newspaper. Within the movie, she is resolute in revealing the root cause behind numerous accidents transpiring at a designated overpass. Her investigation centers on motorcyclists who flout traffic rules on the urban flyover.
After ending those motorists taking a U-turn with the root cause for this, she begins to deal with motorists personally and indicates this issue. At some point, her investigation takes a dark turn when one of the U-turn riders is found dead and she becomes the prime suspect. After this incident, she has involved in the murder of one of the motorcyclists.
In the film, sub-inspector Arjun Sinha (played by Priyanshu Painyuli) is determined to solve the case. As the investigation progresses, the police discover a disturbing link between those who made a U-turn and their untimely deaths. There is compelling evidence that connects Radhika to these mysterious fatalities. However, their journey takes an eerie turn as they encounter supernatural events that entangle them in a web of secrets.
Alaya has said: “‘U-Turn’ is a supernatural thriller that will keep the audience on edge. Stepping into the shoes of my character, Radhika, was an incredible experience. She is curious and inquisitive just like me, but perhaps a lot braver! This is one of those characters that challenged me as an actor, but I learned so much through the process of shooting this film.”
She further mentioned the film: “It feels great to be a part of a story with an authentic and strong message – One U-Turn can cost your life. I am sure that the viewers are in for a lot of surprising elements in the movie. So, please don’t miss it.”
The movie has been directed by Arif Khan, ‘And U-Turn’ is produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R. Kapoor’s – Balaji Telefilms Limited. The film features an ensemble cast of Rajesh Sharma, Aashim Gulati, Shreedhar Dubey, Sahil Takhi, and Apoorva Suman.
