In a resplendent event on Wednesday, U Mumba brilliantly merged the worlds of sport and entertainment to showcase their iconic Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 jersey. The grand unveiling, held at META India studios in Mumbai, was graced by Bollywood sensation Vicky Kaushal and the U Mumba squad.

With an exhilarating season on the horizon, U Mumba is fully prepared. The freshly designed jersey, crafted with meticulous precision and thoughtfulness, symbolises the team’s unwavering dedication to excellence and unity. It also encapsulates the enduring resilience and spirit of Mumbai, which U Mumba proudly represents.
The launch event saw Vicky Kaushal, portraying Sam Bahadur, alongside team owner Ronnie Screwvala and CEO Suhail Chandhok, as well as key players from the Season 10 squad including Surinder Singh, Mahender Singh, Rinku, Girish Ernak, Guman Singh, and Pranay Rane.
“The jersey is intricately woven with elements that embody the essence of Mumbai city. It captures the vibrancy, diversity, and relentless spirit of this bustling metropolis. Each thread narrates a tale, reflecting the city’s ceaseless energy and U Mumba’s pursuit of excellence,” expressed Suhail Chandhok, CEO of U Mumba.
A standout feature of the jersey is its tribute to the ocean – a nod to Mumbai’s original inhabitants, the Koli community, and the water that forms the foundation of this seven-island city.
“The waves depicted on the jersey symbolize the potential challenges our players might face during the Pro Kabaddi League season. They serve as a reminder to be adaptable and resilient, like water, ready to tackle any obstacles that come their way,” added Chandhok.
During the event, U Mumba also announced their leadership for the upcoming season, with Surinder Singh continuing as Captain, and Rinku Sharma and Mahender Singh serving as Vice-Captains.
