Twitter reportedly working to add more functions to its Super Follow feature

Twitter announced its latest Super Follow feature a few months ago and we all were surprised by how much more changes the social media platform was readily bringing to this new feature.

According to sources, the social media platform is now actually working on bringing out even more functionalities to Twitter’s paid service. As we know, Super Follow allows users to get exclusive content, deals, and community access to creators for $4.99/month. The researcher Wang earlier previewed the service and revealed that the company is in the works to create tweets only available to Super Follow subscribers.

When a Super Follower sees exclusive content, Twitter will prompt a banner:

Interested in the conversation?

You can reply because you Super Follow @wongmjane.

This handy feature makes it clear that only the people that contribute with a creator’s account will be able to reply and see some conversations. The Super Follow feature will also give users exclusive Spaces access, Fleets, newsletters, and discounts in merchandising.

It’s not just that but the researcher has also provided us with another glimpse on “Reactions,” a new form of interacting with tweets. According to other sources, these reactions will be similar to what we can see now on Facebook. However, it’s unclear as to when the company will decide to launch the feature.

On another new, according to a recent leak, it seems that Instagram is also working on a similar approach to Twitter’s Super Follow with Exclusive Stories. It is revealed that using this feature, only people who contribute with a creator will be able to see exclusive Stories.

Since the start of 2021, Twitter has been testing its new features and has also vowed to improve the service even further to make it easier for creators to monetize their content. However, there still is Twitter’s cut though.
