## Why the Film Struggled

The romantic comedy faced multiple hurdles at the box office:

- **Competition from Dhurandhar**: Ranveer Singh’s spy thriller dominated theaters, leaving little room for the rom-com
- **Weak word-of-mouth**: Average audience reception failed to drive footfalls
- **Genre challenges**: [Rom-coms have struggled post-pandemic](https://www.pinkvilla.com/entertainment/box-office), making it harder to attract audiences
- **Sharp weekday drops**: After an underwhelming ₹8.50 crore opening, collections plummeted on Day 2

The film opened to poor numbers and crashed sharply, ultimately becoming a major box office disappointment despite featuring popular stars like [Kartik Aaryan](https://technosports.co.in/tag/kartik-aaryan/) and [Ananya Panday](https://technosports.co.in/bollywood-news/). Even promotional activities couldn’t salvage the theatrical run.
