## Why Netflix Said Yes?

The show is based on the webtoon *Severe Trauma Center: Golden Hour* by Lee Nak Jun. Since its January 24, 2025 debut, it has racked up **43.6 million views** and spent five weeks in Netflix’s global top 10, reaching number 1.

## The Big Recast

The biggest talking point is the role of nurse **Cheon Jang Mi**. **Jung Ye In**, known as a K-pop idol and member of LOVELYZ, takes over from Ha Young, who leaves the series after a reported controversy. It’s a bold move, and fans will be watching closely to see how she makes the role her own.

## What to Expect From Season 2?

Netflix’s teaser promises **stronger teamwork** in even more desperate situations. Kang Hyuk is pushing to build and stabilize an effective trauma system to save lives. Expect higher stakes and bigger emergencies, and a team that has grown closer.
