Partnerships have taken place between the Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur and Formula One, which will see the form of kart tracks at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. A 15-year of the partnership was announced between the two parties, for which people will see electric karting tracks for children as well as for adults. These will be built underneath the South Stand of the stadium, situated in London, which has been known for hosting NFL games too.

Formula One President and CEO in this regard

Formula One president, as well as the CEO Stefano Domenicali, said in a statement that the karting experience would be a destination that several families, friends, along with aspiring drivers across the globe will want to visit and enjoy. This will eventually lead to the engagement of new audiences, and they will be offered an accessible entry point to the world of motorsport.

Tottenham Hotspur announced the news on Twitter

Fans of both parties got this news first on Twitter when the official Twitter handle of Tottenham Hotspur first disclosed the news about their partnership with Formula One. Reports about the tracks state that they will be a part of the wider program for encouraging people from a variety of backgrounds with a driver academy and apprenticeships for the local people along with the educational events that are conducted in several institutes highlighting careers in fields like engineering and software development.

On the other hand, F1 has also been engaged in enhancing its record on diversity at present and is launching the F1 Academy which will be a development series for women. Lewis Hamilton who is the only black driver of the sport has also made diversity his personal priority by founding a commission to research ways for improving the representation of black people in the racing industry in Britain.
