Toshiba has partnered with Hisense to bring smart and affordable TVs to India with the latest features of late and that has paved well for the company, giving 2+ years of warranty on most latest models has attracted a lot of buyers. With very positive reviews across multiple platforms, this Toshiba TV caught my eye as I was looking for a cheap option for my home.
Considering I wanted a 4K one with the latest features but was not willing to spend much, this Toshiba C350LP was available at a really cheap price on Flipkart with a plethora of offers. With exchange, bank discount and everything this 43-inch variant cost me only around Rs.17k and I saved almost Rs.10k on the MRP, which is a win-win for everyone.
Having used it over a month now, here’s a brief review of why this Smart TV is a good buy for me or anyone who is looking to get one for themselves:

The display is worth the price
At this price point, most TVs come with VA panels and this is no exception, this 4K LED 10-bit panel is quite good with good viewing angles, the blacks are quite black, not the best when you compare to QLEDs or OLEDs but decent at this price range. The rich contrast this TV has with good peak brightness does bring the best out in everyday life and for most Indian households the quality is enough.
Launched almost a year back, getting some nice deals on this Toshiba TV won’t be an issue at all, and for a cheap price, this display is a fantastic one. This is a proper 4K UHD display with REGZA Engine 4K and HDR10 support, giving rich details when you watch 4K content on this TV, the colors also look nice after tuning, great for everyday usage.
Watching everyday chores, YouTube or even movies is bliss on this one, IPL 2023 at 4K just looked fantastic and those who are upgrading from HD or FHD TVs especially will enjoy 4K content on a big TV like this. While for most households 43-inch is enough but one can buy a 50 or 55-inch variant of this Toshiba C350LP 4K Google TV at a very nominal price upgrade, which is a good thing though.
Overall, while QLEDs or OLEDs are quite expensive, as a VA panel for the price, this Toshiba C350LP 4K Google TV has a great display which delivers good 4K content that looks good too.
Loaded with Features
Being powered by the new Google TV OS, this Toshiba C350LP 4K Google TV is seamless and convenient enough to navigate, find, and do whatever you want to in the easiest way possible. The UI is very to set up and easily gets configured with your Google account, and provides great recommendations according to what you are watching on your phone, tablet, etc.
Once synced well, the Google TV OS automatically recommends new content according to your choice and taste, or you can continue where you left off the last YouTube video you were watching. You can expect great picture quality, thanks to technologies like REGZA Engine 4K, Ultimate Motion, and Noise Reduction.Â
Toshiba is also offering 24W speakers with Dolby Atmos and Vision support, if you watch Netflix or Prime Video or even Disney+ which has this kind of content you will be just blown away experiencing the theatre-like content. The Toshiba C350LP is well optimized to show Dolby-certified content with rich details and incredible sound, so, if you always wanted a 4K TV to enjoy Stranger Things or Farzi or the new Avatar movie, then this 4K UHD delivers that easily.
Also, the High Dynamic Range or HDR10 support with Dolby Vision enhances the color to a great extent and sometimes I forgot this is a VA panel and not a QLED or OLED. Overall, the UI, and all the features of this Smart TV are very seamless, in 2023, this is still a good option out there.
Decent Performance & Connectivity
Being an Official Google TV, it provides you with a next-gen smart TV experience with unlimited content, games, apps and connectivity options like chromecast, screen mirroring, Bluetooth etc. Obviously, this is a 4K UHD Smart TV but with a standard 60Hz refresh rate and robust connectivity options like 3 HDMI ports, dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0 support.
In terms of daily usage, the Toshiba C350LP excels when it comes to connecting to Wi-Fi or Bluetooth devices, and even its remote is quite easy and simplistic. With almost all the main features already embedded into this TV, here too I find no issues or lag of any sort, from preloading apps to the animations, there was no stutter, but don’t expect out-of-the-world fluency or performance of any.
Looks and Feels Good
One of the things I really do appreciate about this Toshiba C350LP 4K Google TV is its incredible design, this TV at this price range is one of the sleekest looking options with no bezels and very thin sides. No one can imagine this affordable TV can look so great, the tiny chin at the bottom has its own premiumness and the TOSHIBA branding at the bottom looks pretty clean.
At what price, I got this TV for, this certainly looks up-market and has indeed caught the show of our house, though I have seen a lot of Sony, Samsung, Mi or OnePlus TVs, Toshiba has really impressed me with its cleanness, minimal and modern design.
Verdict
So, should you buy this Toshiba C350LP 4K Google TV? Well, if you are getting a good deal on this you should definitely grab one without asking. Its affordable, reliable and has a good price-to-performance ratio, it has minor cons which for this price can be neglected, and if you are at budget this is a really viable 4K TV you can go for.
Now, currently this particular model might not be available, but the new 2023 C350MP series is available with more or less same specs, and new additional features at similar pricing. Though you might not get a lot of discounts, but has the same reliable features and 2 years warranty in this price segment by Toshiba, so you can also have a look at that.
