Lorenzo Insigne is strongly attracting interest from Toronto for a move to North America. The team competes as part of the Eastern Conference in the MLS and will be signing a huge talent if they manage to come to an agreement with Insigne.

No final agreement has been reached between the two parties as of yet, but they are entering the core stages of the negotiations right now.

What is Lorenzo Insigne’s transfer situation?

The Napoli captain is out of a contract at the end of the season. He has been contracted to his boyhood club throughout his professional career, except for a few loan deals. And over the last few years, he has emerged as their leader.

Toronto are ‘more than serious’ for Lorenzo Insigne, as reported days ago. They’re pushing. The official proposal has been discussed with Insigne’s camp. 🇨🇦⤵️

According to renowned transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, the Canada-based outfit have offered him a contract worth €11.5 million per season. Add-ons worth €4.5 million are also being discussed as part of his contract with Toronto.

The club is strongly pushing for the winger, and would want to sign him when his contract expires. They are offering Lorenzo Insigne a five-year contract, and he is seriously considering their offer.

At 30 years old, he still has a few years left at the top level. And a move to the MLS might be a bit too soon for the forward. However, other clubs across Europe might not be willing or able to offer him the kind of contract that Toronto are preparing. This will be a transfer situation worth watching, especially with no transfer fees involved.
