Federico Bernardeschi is all set to join Toronto FC in the coming days. The winger left Juventus as a free agent upon the expiry of his contract with the club. And now, he has agreed personal terms over a move to the MLS.
The Italian’s transfer has been given the here we go signal by Fabrizio Romano, which means it is only a matter of time before the move is made official. The 28-year-old has agreed a long-term contract with the Canadian side. Once the medicals have been completed today, he will officially be announced as a new player for the club.

The Italian will be the third of his country to make the move to Toronto FC this summer. Lorenzo Insigne signed first from Napoli, upon the expiry of his contract. He has been presented as a new player for the MLS club as well.
Domenico Criscito has also agreed terms over a move to North America this summer. And Federico Bernardeschi will soon become the third Italian to join Toronto FC. The winger has found it hard for playing time to come by during his time at Juventus.
He made an ambitious transfer from Fiorentina in 2017, but hasn’t been able to replicate his form for La Viola in Turin. However, he will now be looking to take on a new challenge in a new continent once he is registered as a new player.
