With the pace Erling Haaland is scoring goals, and in particular, hat-tricks at, you might be wondering what the record for the most hat-tricks in a Premier League season is. And in this article, we will be looking exactly at that.

Most hat-tricks in a Premier League season

Manchester City’s all-time top goalscorer is third on the list for the most hat-tricks in a Premier League season. He scored three hat-tricks during the 17/18 season, becoming the first Manchester City player to achieve the feat.

The only active player on the list, and the one expected to be at the top by the end of 22/23. Haaland has scored three Premier League hat-tricks in only eight games, which in itself is a record. And he is only expected to further his tally, with 30 games left.

2. Harry Kane – 4 hat-tricks

Tottenham’s Harry Kane scored four hat-tricks during the 17/18 season, the same year that Aguero set his record. The England captain is a proven goalscorer, and among the best of his generation.

1. Alan Shearer- 5 hat-tricks

The English top flight’s all-time top scorer also holds the record for the most hat-tricks in a Premier League season. Shearer scored five hat-tricks in the 1995-96 season, cementing his place further as a legend.
