Mohamed Salah is arguably the best player in his position right now, making the right-wing his own under Jurgen Klopp. But, he isn’t the only dazzling forward out on the right side. In this article, we will be taking a look at the top ten right-wingers in Europe’s top five leagues. 

Top 10 right-wingers in Europe right now 

10. Marco Asensio (Real Madrid) 

After emerging as a talented youngster with Real Madrid, Asensio has established himself as a key player on the right. He has eight goals from 14 starts in La Liga this season, which proves his worth in terms of end product.

9. Jarrod Bowen (West Ham United) 

Jarrod Bowen has played in 79 consecutive Premier League games for West Ham without missing a single one, the longest streak in the club's history.

Jarrod Bowen has been a big revelation under David Moyes this season. The Englishman seems due for a national team call-up now, having provided eight goals and just as many assists for the Hammers this season. 

8. Angel Di Maria (Paris Saint-Germain) 

Despite having the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and Lionel Messi in the same team, Angel Di Maria continues to hold his own. The Argentinian has been able to provide quality every time his team needs it, and continues to be one of the most underrated towards in Europe. 

7. Raphinha (Leeds United) 

With nine goals and two assists for relegation-threatened Leeds United, Raphinha seems to be in a league of his own. The player could end up moving away from Elland Road regardless of Leeds’ fate this season. 

6. Hakim Ziyech (Chelsea) 

For a brief spell, we saw exactly what Chelsea had signed when they acquired Hakim Ziyech from Ajax. The Moroccan now has two goal of the month awards for Chelsea, with two dazzling goals. And if he is able to become a little more consistent, he might just earn a solid starting place under Thomas Tuchel, after a spell at right-wingback as well.

5. Jadon Sancho (Manchester United) 

After struggling to get going at Manchester United initially, Jadon Sancho is finally starting to show what he is all about. The winger was the only positive from the recent defeat in the Manchester derby, and is certainly the forward that will lead the team into the future.

Saka is easily the best player that Arsenal have right now. The youngster is in line for a new contract with the Gunners, and has the highest return for a player aged 21 and under in the Premier League this season. 

3. Riyad Mahrez (Manchester City) 

The Algerian has never quite gotten the praise he is due. But this season, he is putting in the highest numbers of his career. Mahrez already has 21 goals and six assists across all competitions, and could have much higher numbers by the time the campaign is over. Moreover, he has established himself as the starting right-winger under Pep Guardiola this season.

2. Serge Gnabry (Bayern Munich) 

The German right-winger has been unstoppable for the Bavarian giants this season. With 16 goal contributions alongside Robert Lewandowski in the front-line, Gnabry is one of the most consistent forwards in the world right now. 

1. Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) 

With the most goals and most assists in the Premier League this season, Mohamed Salah is making an early case for the Ballon d’Or award. The Liverpool forward has already won the Carabao Cup, and is making a strong case to help his side win the Premier League and Champions League too.
