1. Domination of Bowlers

From the very first day of the second test Indian bowlers dominated in this match. In the first innings, they restricted Australia in just 195 runs. In the second Innings, they did that again in just 200 runs. The addition of Md. Siraj into the squad proved to be a key factor in this match

2. Excellent Batting Performance

The addition of in-form Subhaman Gil in place of Prithvi Shaw, Ajinkya Rahane’s brilliant century in the first innings along Jadeja’s performance in the lower batting order has set the stage for India to capitalize on the Aussies and clinch the victory.

In the first test, India started well. But they lost the momentum. And it cost them last time. India learned from their mistakes and did that this time.

Something that is very awkward to hear. But Virat Kohli’s absence is a blessing in disguise for India. Ajinkya Rahane to the captain’s responsibility in the absence of the Indian skipper. He brought much needed fresh air in the dressing room that reflects in the team’s performance.

Team India was under the microscope by the critics after the shameful batting in the second innings in the last test. Team India took the opportunity to shut the critics by performing on the field.
