5. Karim Benzema – 150

The Real Madrid striker was the top scorer as Madrid lifted their 14th title last year. He has been quite influential this year as well, and could move up to 4th if he features over the two legs against Manchester City in the semi-final.

4. Xavi – 151

The former Barcelona midfielder, and now manager holds the record for one of the most appearances in the Champions League with 151. He has won the competition four times with Barcelona, but hasn’t had much luck as a manager.

3. Lionel Messi – 163

The Argentine crashed out of the Champions League in the Round of 16 this season, with PSG. And there is a chance he could feature for Barcelona next season if he can make a return this summer.

2. Iker Casillas – 177

Casillas made most of his appearances for Real Madrid, and won the title three times. Towards the end of his career, he played for Porto before calling it a day. The Spaniard is one of the best goalkeepers in history, and won the trophy for the last time in 13/14 with Madrid.

1. Cristiano Ronaldo – 183
