Karim Benzema has been lighting the Champions League on fire since last season. He has now entered the top five players with the most Champions League appearances of all-time, with his latest coming against Chelsea in their 2-0 quarter final win.

The Real Madrid striker was the top scorer as Madrid lifted their 14th title last year. He has been quite influential this year as well, and could move up to 4th if he features over the two legs against Manchester City in the semi-final.

The former Barcelona midfielder, and now manager holds the record for one of the most appearances in the Champions League with 151. He has won the competition four times with Barcelona, but hasn’t had much luck as a manager.

The Argentine crashed out of the Champions League in the Round of 16 this season, with PSG. And there is a chance he could feature for Barcelona next season if he can make a return this summer.
2. Iker Casillas – 177
Casillas made most of his appearances for Real Madrid, and won the title three times. Towards the end of his career, he played for Porto before calling it a day. The Spaniard is one of the best goalkeepers in history, and won the trophy for the last time in 13/14 with Madrid.
1. Cristiano Ronaldo – 183
Mr Champions League is the player with the most Champions League appearances. He has played 183 times in the competition, and is also the all-time top scorer. He most recently played in the UCL for Manchester United before leaving for Al-Nassr.
