Manuel Neuer broke the record for the most clean sheets in the Champions League by shutting out Arsenal in the second leg of their quarter final tie. The Bayern Munich captain has 58 clean sheets in the competition now, the most of any keeper in recorded history.
The Germany international has been recognised as the best of his generation by many, and rightfully so. His shot-stopping, ball-playing, understanding of the game and leadership are second to none, and he has written his name in the history books once more with his achievement.
