Sacking managers has become more common in recent years, when results are not produced. But despite the short-lived spells of several modern managers, there exist some coaches who have never been sacked. They have only been relieved of their duties upon the expiry of their contracts or the emergence of another opportunity.

In this article, we will be taking a look at the top five managers that have never been sacked.

Top 5 managers that have never been sacked

5) Didier Deschamps

Didier Deschamps started his managerial career with Monaco and led them to their first Champions League final – although eventually coming short against Mourinho. He has managed Juventus and Marseille at the club level. And since 2012, has taken charge of the France national team, leading them to World Cup glory in 2018.

4) Luis Enrique

Enrique took charge of the most dominant Barcelona team following that of Pep Guardiola and was able to guide them to the Champions League. He then took over the national team and has been in charge of them ever since.

3) Zinedine Zidane

Zidane guided Real Madrid to a hat-trick of Champions League titles in his first spell with them. After making a return to the Bernabeu, he led them to their 34th league title before calling it quits on his own terms.

2) Pep Guardiola

Guardiola is among the best managers the world has ever seen, and he has managed some of the top clubs in the world as well. He started off with his former playing team Barcelona, before moving on to Bayern Munich. He now manages Manchester City and has achieved a stronghold over the domestic competitions, while Champions League glory continues to elude him.

1) Jurgen Klopp

Klopp is among the most beloved managers in the world. He started out with Mainz before moving to Dortmund and guiding them to the Champions League final in 2013, which they lost to Bayern. He is now in charge of Liverpool, having guided them to their sixth Champions League title and first Premier League title in over 30 years.
