Top 5 longest unbeaten streaks in ISL

Indian Super League was started in 2014 with 8 teams. From the 2017-18 season, it became the top division league in India and also, it was made a 10 team’s league. The excitement and competition of this league are still the same from the very first season.

It’s very tough to continue your form and play every game with your full potential and maintaining a winning streak in a competitive league like ISL. But there are some teams who have done this.

5. ATK [8 matches unbeaten, 2016]

In 2016, ATK [Now known as ‘ATK Mohun Bagan FC’] was unbeaten in the league for 8 matches. The streak was started with a 2-2 draw against Odisha FC and it continued to the finals and they claimed the trophy.

4. Mumbai City FC [9 matches unbeaten, 2018-19]:

After a very poor start with just one win in 4 games, Mumbai City FC has put up a solid comeback. They were unbeaten for 9 games and it was ended by FC Goa.

3. Bengaluru FC [10 matches unbeaten, 2017-18]:

Bengaluru FC is one of the best teams of ISL since their first season in this league. They had also maintained an unbeaten run of 10 games in the 2017-18 season.

It was started with a win against Mumbai City FC and ended against Chennaiyin FC when they lost in the finals.

2. FC Goa [10 matches unbeaten, 2014]:

FC Goa has done this in the inaugural season of ISL. They have maintained a 10 matches streak before ATK halted their streak in the semi-final in the penalty shoot-out.

1. Bengaluru FC [10 matches unbeaten, 2018-19]:

Bengaluru FC had made another unbeaten run in their title-winning season in the 2018-19 season. This is the joint highest unbeaten run in ISL history along with FC Goa’s unbeaten run in 2014.
