3. Giovanni Simeone: Hellas Verona from Cagliari 

The son of Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone, Giovanni has made a name for himself at Verona. He has been on loan at various clubs but things seemed to have clicked this time. He has scored nine goals and provided three assists in 12 games so far. Someone is also another one of the loan players that is slowly demanding attention.

2. Antoine Griezmann: Atletico Madrid from Barcelona  

Griezmann returned to Atletico Madrid on loan from Barcelona on deadline day in the summer. And since returning, he has regained his previous form in some capacity. The Frenchman has scored five times and assisted once in 15 appearances. Atletico have the chance to sign him permanently again for €40 million. 

1. Connor Gallagher: Crystal Palace from Chelsea 

The Chelsea academy graduate has been remarkable this season. So much so that he has earned his first call-up from the England national team. He has scored four goals and assisted two goals in 11 games across all competitions. Upon returning, he could be integrated into the Chelsea first team at last. His growth puts him at the top of the list of loan players in 2021.
