Top 5 ISL clubs who have lost the most number of points from winning position in ISL 2020-21 season

The 2020-21 season of the Hero ISL has come to an end a few days back. Mumbai City FC was crowned champion by beating ATK Mohun Bagan FC in the final by 2-1.

However, Some teams have seen some ups and downs in the 7th edition of ISL. Some teams have lost the points after taking the lead over the opposition.

Here are the top 5 clubs who have lost the most number of points from winning position in ISL this season.

5. North-East United

North-East United has lost 10 points from a winning position this season. All the matches ended in a draw while they dropped the points.

However, the Highlanders ended the league stage in the 3rd position and knocked out of the ISL in the Semi-Final by ATK Mohun Bagan FC.

4. FC Goa

Another semi-finalist in the list. The Gaurs also dropped 10 points from the winning position.

FC Goa finished the group stage in the 4th position. They were knocked out by the champions Mumbai City FC after a thrilling tie-breaker.

3. Chennaiyin FC

The two times ISL champions have lost 11 points from the winning position. The South Indian side has registered the most number of draws in the ISL this season and finished at the eighth position in the league table.

They have drew four and lost one from a winning position.

2. SC East Bengal

It was the debut season of SC East Bengal in the Hero ISL. But the season had not gone as per plan for the Red and Golds. They finished in the 9th position in the league.

However, they dropped 12 points from a winning position as they lost four and drew three after taking the lead.

1. Kerala Blasters FC

Kerala Blasters FC has the worst performance while defending a lead. They have lost a total of 18 points from the winning position.

Kerala Blasters FC finished 10th in the league this season. They have lost four games, and drew three from a winning position.
