1. 172 by Sri Lanka vs Kenya (2007)
Sri Lanka defeated Kenya by 172 runs in Group C of the 2007 T20 World Cup Championship held at Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg, South Africa. Sanath Jayasuriya mustered 88 runs in just 44 deliveries that took Sri Lanka to 260-6 in 20 overs. Maurice Oma from Kenya got dismissed for a duck and Kenya couldn’t even near the total. By the 20th over, Kenya had just scored 88 runs and SL won the game by 172 runs. This was the highest victory by runs by a team in T20I.
2. 168 runs by India vs New Zealand (2023)
India defeated New Zealand by a huge margin of 168 runs in the 3rd T20I, which was the series decider as the series was tied at 1-1. Shubman Gill scored a blistering knock of 126* from just 63 balls with a perfect strike of 200 as India finished the 20 overs with a total of 234/4. Indian captain Hardik Pandya bowled a terrific spell of 4-0-16-4 and helped to restrict the New Zealand batsmen to just a mere 66 runs and bowled them out in just 12.1 overs. This is India’s highest victory by runs in a T20I match as they also won the 3-match T20I series.
3. 155 by Pakistan vs Hong Kong (2022)
Pakistan got defeated by India in the first match of the Asia Cup 2022. Hong kong too got beaten by India. Both the teams clashed and the winner of the game was to face India again in the Super 4 stage. Mohammad Rizwan and Fakhar Zaman mustered the fifties that took Pakistan to 193/2 against Hong Kong in Asia Cup. Rizwan scored 78 off 57 balls while Zaman mustered 53 off 41 balls. Eshan Khan picked up two wickets while giving 28 runs. Pakistan won by a huge margin of 155 runs.
4. 143 by Pakistan vs West Indies (2018)
The Pakistani bowlers shined as they won they restricted West Indies to just 60 runs. This was their lowest-ever T20I score. Pakistan had already scored 203/5 as Hussain Talat mustered 41, Fakhar Zaman scored 39 and Sarfraz scored 38 runs Ahmed and boosted the team’s confidence. The visitors had to muster 203 runs in 20 overs but lost wickets at regular intervals and posted only 60 runs in 20 overs.
4. 143 by India vs Ireland (2018)
India thrashed Ireland by 143 runs to win 2-0 and the spinners were at the best of their potential to torment the hosts. India posted 213 runs whereas the hosts could only score 70 runs in 12.3 overs. It was the visitor’s biggest win by a run margin. this was the lowest total against India in T20I cricket.
5. 137 by England vs West Indies (2019)
This is the largest T20I victory by England against West Indies in 2019. Sam Billings helped England win the game before Chris Jordan took four wickets and demolished West Indies for just 45 runs and had a 137-rub victory and took a 2-0 lead in the series. Sam billings played his best career knock of 87 runs off 47 balls and Joe Root mustered 55 runs off just 40 balls. Adil Rashid and Liam Plunkett dismissed all the players with England’s highest victory in just 12 overs.
