Adebayor featured for Arsenal, Tottenham and Crystal Palace in the Premier League. He is the highest goalscorer for the Togolese national team. The forward’s most prolific season was in 2007/08 where he won the African Player of the Year after scoring 24 goals in the league.

Liverpool’s number 10 recently achieved the monumental feat of scoring 100 Premier League goals. The Senegalese forward has scored a century of goals without a single penalty. He is only the third player to do so after Emile Heskey and Les Ferdinand.

2. Didier Drogba – 104 goals

Drogba is still heralded as one of Chelsea’s greatest ever players. The Ivorian spent two spells at Chelsea and won the Golden Boot in 2006/07 and 2009/10. He was also responsible for scoring the winning penalty against Bayern Munich that won Chelsea their first Champions League title.

Salah is without a doubt the best player in the world right now. The Egyptian moved clear of Drogba’s goal tally with a hat-trick at Old Trafford against Manchester United. He has scored 107 goals in 167 appearances, which is a remarkable return for any player.
