  • A new report from Ebuyer has revealed the most streamed gaming songs worldwide
  • Minecraft’s Sweden created by German composer C418, A.K.A. Daniel Rosenfeld, takes the top spot with a whopping 85 million streams!
  • A shocking snub from the list is the Final Fantasy series soundtrack by Japanese composer Nobuo Uetsama

Can you imagine obtaining sweet gaming victory to a wall of silence? We all know games for their amazing graphics or storylines, but it’s the soundtrack that can heighten our victory… or move us to tears.

It’s no surprise that artists such as Paul McCartney, Nine Inch Nails, and David Bowie have gone on to soundtrack some iconic games – the BAFTAs even have their own gaming category!

Taking the coveted top spot is Minecraft’s ‘Sweden’ by German compose Daniel Rosenfield, with a whopping 85 million streams. ² This means C418 could be drawing in around $341,000 from streaming alone.

Action-adventure and role-playing games dominated the top 10 including Grand Theft Auto V, The Best of Us, and Skyrim.

However, more shocking than the list itself are the songs snubbed from the list! The legendry Final Fantasy soundtrack by Japanese composer Nobuo Uematsu failed to make the top ten! Even Mario couldn’t get mush-room on the list.

Now the only thing left to do is add these songs to your playlists!
