Sports Innovation Lab has released a complete list of the 25 most innovative teams. The list features various teams across several global football leagues, the National Basketball Association, the National Football League, and Major League Baseball.
Teams eligible were assessed across three categories: revenue diversification; organisational agility; and technology alignment.
More than 8,000 data sources and in excess of 150,000 market signals were analyzed and checked by Sports Innovation Lab’s proprietary technology to determine the ranking perfectly.

1. Manchester City (Premier League)
The English football giants, who have been named the most innovative team in the world, and are one the most successful teams in England with numerous trophies and honours including F.A. Cup, Premier League and many more.
2. Real Madrid (La Liga)
Real Madrid, the Spanish giant in domestic football, has won 66 trophies with a record of 34 La Liga titles and, in 13 UEFAChampions League. Also, they have achieved a record seven club world championships.
3. Arsenal (Premier League)

The Spanish Football giants FC Barcelona are named as the 5th most innovative sports team by Sports Innovation Lab. Domestically, Barcelona has won a record of 74 trophies and 20 European and worldwide titles, and currently occupies the second position on the UEFA club rankings. Although the champions from the past few months are not doing up to the mark and are disappointed with their performance.
5. Bayern Munich (Bundesliga)
Bayern Munich, the German Giants, is the most successful club in German football history, having won a record 30 national titles, including eight consecutively since 2013 and, 20 national cups along with numerous of European honours and titles. The club is in a great form currently, winning their second continental treble last season.
6. Manchester United (Premier League)
Manchester United Football Club, a professional football club based in Old Trafford, England, that competes in the top flight of English football, Premier League. Manchester United have won more trophies than any other club in English football. The club became the first in the history of English football to achieve the continental European treble.
7. Golden State Warriors (NBA)
The San-Francisco based, Golden State Warriors are an American professional basketball team. The Warriors hold several NBA records including best regular season, most wins in a season and best post season run and many more. Also, The Warriors are the third most valuable NBA franchise with a value estimated of $4.3 billion, given by Forbes.
8. Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1)
Paris-Saint-Germain, the french footballing giants, have been able to enter the top 10 list of most innovative teams. They are France’s most successful clubs having won more than 40 official honours, including nine league titles and one major European trophy. They are also one of the most popular football clubs in France and also, one of the most widely supported teams in the world.
9. Juventus (Serie A)
The Italian soccer giants, Juventus competes in the Serie A, the top flights of Italian Football. The team has numerous numbers of honours including six league titles and five international titles and many more titles. Not only this but also, this team has made a huge contribution to the Italian national team. This team’s fan base is the largest at the national level and one of the largest worldwide.
10. Sacramento Kings (NBA)
The Sacramento Kings, an American professional basketball team based in Sacramento, California, has also been able to be in the top 10 list of the most innovative teams. The Kings are the only team in the major professional North American sports leagues located in Sacramento.
