HCL Tech’s CEO and Managing Director, C Vijayakumar, received Rs 28.4 crore in FY23. He has been with HCL since 2016, driving the company through new technology breakthroughs, according to the Economic Times.

8. Rajesh Gopinathan

Company Name- TCS (Tata Consultancy Services)

Salary- Rs. 29.61 Cr

Rajesh Gopinathan, former CEO and Managing Director of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), made Rs 29.61 crore in FY23. His pay was Rs 1.73 crore, with additional benefits and allowances totaling Rs 2.43 crore, according to the Economic Times. Gopinathan resigned as CEO in 2023.

Salary- Rs. 32 Cr

The former Tech Mahindra CEO and Managing Director CP Gurnani earned Rs 32 crore last year before leaving the business in December 2023, after nearly two decades.

Company Name- Coforge

Salary- Rs. 34 Cr

Sudhir Singh, the CEO and Executive Director of Coforge, received Rs 34 crore in FY23, according to News18. Since January 2020, he has run Coforge, an IT services firm headquartered in Noida and New Jersey.

Company Name- Infosys

Salary- Rs. 56 Cr

He received his degree in aeronautical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT Bombay). Cornell University offers master’s degrees in mechanical and computer science engineering.

After Ernst & Young’s consulting division, where he had previously worked, was incorporated with the company in 2000, Parekh joined the group management board of Capgemini.

4. Nitin Rakesh

Earnings: Rs. 59.2 Cr

Nitin Rakesh, Mphasis’ CEO and Director, earned Rs 59.2 crore in FY23, according to CNBC. He has led Mphasis since 2017, propelling company forward in the competitive company services and consulting business.

Sandeep Kalra earned Rs 61.7 crore as CEO and Executive Director of Persistent Systems last year, up 31% from Rs 46.9 crore in FY22, according to LiveMint. Kalra joined Persistent Systems in 2019 and was appointed CEO in 2020.

Thierry Delaporte, who just resigned as CEO of Wipro, earned Rs 82 crore in FY23, making him India’s second-highest-paid CEO, according to News18. Srinivas Pallia succeeded him as CEO and Managing Director on April 7.

Earnings: Rs. 169.1 Cr

Ravi Kumar Singisetti took over Cognizant on January 12, 2023, following Brian Humphries. He topped the list with a stunning Rs 186 crore in remuneration last year, according to India Today. According to business documents, the majority of his earnings, almost Rs 169.1 crore, were in the form of shares.
